Englander Sleep Products, a mattress licensing group based in Olive Branch, Miss., has announced that mattress industry veteran David Clark has joined licensee Englander Southeast in Rome, Ga., as vice president of sales. Clark is based in Atlanta and reports to Dominick Azevedo, Englander Southeast president and chief operating officer.
Most recently, Clark served as regional sales manager for the Restonic licensee in New Albany, Ind. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and general manager of the former Southeast Bedding Co. in Columbus, Ga. He also served as the Englander licensing group’s vice president and general manager from 2002 to 2005. His background includes an executive sales and marketing post at Ashley Furniture Industries in Arcadia, Wis. He began his career at mattress major Simmons where he spent 17 years in a range of sales and sales management posts.
