Sleepy’s, a sleep shop chain with headquarters in in Hicksville, N.Y., announced that its grand opening Aug. 9 in Chicago drew more than 150 attendees, each of whom received a complimentary breakfast and a goodie-filled “Nap Sack.”

Pajama-clad guests got to meet WTMX-FM personality DJ Finnigan and spin a prize wheel, while Elizabeth Murphy, Sleepy’s “snooze director,” offered sleep tips. The retailer also donated 150 pajama sets to the Chicago Pajama Program, which delivers pajamas and books to area needy children.
