Lady Americana inks licensing deal with Oman manufacturer

Lady Americana, a mattress licensing group with headquarters in Oklahoma City, has signed its 15th licensee, International Poly Industries Co. LLC in Muscat, Oman.

International Poly, part of United Arab Emirates-based Al Safeer Group, has been authorized to manufacture Lady Americana’s luxury Bronze, Silver and Gold mattress collections for distribution in the six nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council—Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

“We are proud to become a licensee of a brand known worldwide for quality,” said Victor Satyamurthy, International Poly chief executive officer. “As much as 60% of materials for the mattresses will be sourced from Oman while the rest will be imported.”

The Oman mattress maker, which was established in 2002, also manufactures a broad range of sleep products under the proprietary Sleep Ezze label. A Lady Americana news release described the company as one of the leading sleep products brands in the region.
