Luxury, handcrafted mattress maker and retailer McRoskey Mattress Co., based in San Francisco, was honored for its support of Canon Barcus Community House. The facility is a project of Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of homeless and very low-income San Franciscans by providing supportive housing, shelter, educational and vocational programs, and senior services.

The organization honored McRoskey Mattress Co. at an annual awards luncheon. For 10 years, the mattress manufacturer has donated a new bed set to each member of every family that moves into the Canon Barcus House.

According to Episcopal Community Services’ website, the awards luncheon celebrates inspirational leaders whose contributions to ending homelessness in San Francisco exemplify the organization’s goals of building community, developing skills and enriching lives.
