Specialty sleep manufacturer Zedbed, with headquarters in Shawinigan, Quebec, has named Melanie Stranix as vice president of sales for North America. She reports to Zedbed co-owner David Gelinas.
Prior to joining Zedbed, Stranix was director of sales for major accounts at Rev (formerly Spring Air Sommex). She joined the company in 2002 as a sales representative for major accounts. During her tenure at Rev, her responsibilities covered a range of functional areas from sales and marketing to product development.
“We are very excited to have Melanie on our team,” Gelinas said. “She is a valuable asset to our company. Melanie really understands our branch of the market and what retailers are looking for, which will greatly enhance our abilities to better serve our customers and grow our business.”
Stranix is based in Toronto and will be at the Zedbed showroom during High Point Market Oct. 19-24.
