As part of an organizational realignment, Dormeo Octaspring, based in Plano, Texas, has promoted Jon Stowe to chief executive officer of its newly combined U.S. and Canadian operations. The new business unit will report to Sandi Cesko, chief executive officer of Dormeo Octaspring parent Studio Moderna, a direct marketing conglomerate with operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Chris Henning, president of Dormeo Octaspring in North America, has left the company to pursue other interests.

“We are grateful to Chris for the many contributions he made to help build our organization over the past few years,” Stowe said. “He assembled a wonderful team of professionals, helped build our manufacturing platform and opened key accounts that serve as the basis for a strong business today. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

Stowe is a mattress industry veteran who joined Dormeo Octaspring in 2012 as chief operating officer.

As a part of the management realignment, Morgan Baker was named vice president and general manager of Dormeo Canada. Formerly, he was head of key accounts in Canada. Michael Carter was promoted to vice president of operations from director of manufacturing, and Chad Megard was named executive vice president of retail sales. Previously, he was vice president of sales for the central region.
