Cheng assumes sales & marketing post at Wright of Hong Kong

Wright of Hong Kong Ltd., a subsidiary of Wright Global Graphic Solutions established in Hong Kong in 2007, has hired John Cheng as sales executive. He has sales and marketing responsibilities that include oversight of branding and marketing concepts for labels, mattress components and top-of-bed items.

Cheng reports to Pat Flippin, director of international business development for the Thomasville, N.C.-based company.

Cheng will work closely with the Wright offices in the United States to develop marketing materials and grow the subsidiary’s presence in the Asian market, a news release from Wright Global Graphic Solutions stated.

Before joining Wright of Hong Kong, Cheng managed marketing and promotional activities for events and trade fairs.

“We are very excited to bring John on board to participate in and grow our business in the Asia-Pacific market,” said Waiman Suen, Wright of Hong Kong managing director. “His knowledge of sales and marketing, experience in designing and creating promotional materials, and knowledge of the industry make him an ideal candidate to continue to increase sales in the region. There is terrific opportunity for growth for us in the Asia Pacific market and I believe that Cheng’s expertise and knowledge make him the best person to take on the challenges associated with this role.”
