Needlepunched fabrics conference will focus on latest trends and processes

INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, based in Cary, North Carolina, will hold its second Converting and Bonding Conference May 6-8 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, S.C.

The conference will build on the inaugural CAB 2012 event and will focus on new technologies, raw materials and processes in the needlepunched fabric segment, with a special focus on engineered fabric needs for the automotive and furnishings markets.

Ryan Trainer, president of the International Sleep Products Association is schedule to deliver a presentation updating attendees on state mattress recycling laws.

Attendees also will learn the latest techniques in fabricating, needlepunch, carded and engineered fabrics from industry experts.

“CAB 2014 will be a truly unique event focused on market segment needs served largely by needlepunched fabrics and the various converting processes applied to them to meet those needs,” said Dave Rousse, INDA president. “From the latest in nanotechnology to recycling or repurposing scrap material, CAB attendees will discover thought-provoking, leading-edge information that will benefit their organizations.
