Allied Feather & Down, which has headquarters in Montebello, California, said it now adheres to the Responsible Down Standard and is offering “traceable, ethically sourced down to the home and bedding industry,” a news release stated. The standard is set by the Textile Exchange trade group and is meant to insure that down used in commercial products comes from ethically treated geese.
