Save the date: 2015 Ante4Autism poker tournament in Las Vegas

Ante4Autism logoThe seventh annual Ante4Autism poker tournament will be held in the Grand room at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, at 7 p.m. Jan. 18, on the first day of the winter Las Vegas Market. All proceeds go to New York-based research and advocacy group Autism Speaks.

Organizers and mattress industry members Doug Krinsky of Restonic and Karl Glassman of Leggett & Platt, as well as professional poker player Karina Jett and actor/poker player Erik Audé, invite all to attend.

Buy-in for the Texas Hold ‘em poker event is $125, re-buys are $40. Players receive an Autism Speaks pin. The event includes a silent auction of entertainment and sports memorabilia. All final table players and top finishers receive merchandise prizes. The winner is awarded a Grand Champion plaque. A number of celebrities and special guests are expected to participate in this year’s event.

One in 68 U.S. children, and one in 42 boys, are diagnosed with autism-spectrum disorders.
