Minneapolis considers push for mattress recycling

The Minneapolis City Council is considering whether to seek statewide mattress-recycling legislation during the upcoming Minnesota legislative session. The current proposal suggests the city would support the introduction of a mattress-recycling bill in 2015, and then push for its enactment in 2016.

ISPA has contacted Minnesota officials and is working with them to make sure that any legislation considered does not impose impractical and costly obligations on the bedding industry.
