Customatic Adjustable Bedz updates control power system

Customatic Adjustable Bedz, with headquarters in Natick, Massachusetts, has improved the adjustable power control system on all of its adjustable bed base offerings.

Retailers now can activate a “demo-mode function” on the remote that will “act as a silent salesperson, running the base through all of its key features,” the company said. The redesign of the system also improves access to the base’s controls: A portal board mounted to the underside of the base “creates a central location for all electrical plugs” and serves as a power-supply junction box “that allows easy access to the emergency battery back-up compartment, wireless-remote programming button and demo-mode preset key.”

“We know that when adjustable bases are properly displayed and featured on the showroom floor, attachment rates skyrocket—in some cases more than 30%,” said Phil Sherman, Customatic partner. “These new features will bring a dynamic to retailer floors that we believe is a game-changer for our industry. Seeing is believing as the demo-mode speaks for itself. An interactive display will attract customers and give sales associates easy entry to discuss the lifestyle and sleep benefits of an adjustable base.”
