Naturepedic, a manufacturer of organic and natural mattresses and other sleep products based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, has earned the 2015 Practice Greenhealth Champion for Change award. Practice Greenhealth is a nonprofit membership organization in the health-care sector that advocates for sustainable practices. The award, presented May 14 in Portland, Oregon, honors businesses that take steps to improve their environmentally friendly practices, while helping customers and employees to do the same.
“We are proud to be recognized as a pioneer in sustainability and will continue to adapt and enforce new practices to lessen our environmental impact even more,” said Barry Cik, Naturepedic founder and technical director.
