Radium Foam hosts customer day extravaganza

Radium Foam, maker of Vita Talalay, took customers on a scenic Meuse river boat ride in Holland as part of customer day.

Industry supplier Radium Foam, maker of Vita Talalay latex, entertained more than 50 guests for a customer appreciation day at its headquarters in Maastricht, Netherlands, May 4, prior to the opening of Interzum Cologne.

Manufacturers and retailers from across the world had a full day. They toured the company’s production plant—which recently received a $2.5 million capital investment, listened to presentations, took a scenic boat tour, explored a cave, dined at a castle and spent the night at a monastery.

At the event, Radium announced the introduction of new “online and offline educational tools to help consumers make purchase decisions” about Talalay latex sleep products. The company said its Vita Talalay offerings provide both support and softness, as well as excellent durability and ventilation.

Michael Braungart, a German chemist who is co-inventor of the Cradle to Cradle design concept, spoke on the importance of using safe and sustainable materials that can be recycled indefinitely. In 2013, Braungart’s Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency certified Radium Foam’s Natural Vita Talalay as Cradle to Cradle Silver.
