Latex supplier Talalay Global has promoted two veteran executives to more senior roles.
Mike Quinn was named vice president of operations, and Moe Shaham was appointed vice president of international sales.
Mike Quinn, a 15-year veteran of the Shelton, Connecticut-based company, most recently was director of manufacturing. He joined the company in 1999 as a lab technician intern.
After graduating in 2002 from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, he worked as team leader in the pressroom and eventually assumed the role as director of operations for the company’s rubber factory. Quinn has held various roles within the company and has been successful in expanding his team with succession planning and continuous improvement, according to a news release.
Moe Shaham previously served as director of customer service. He will continue to work on and lead projects focused on continuous improvement and logistics options, enhancing customer service and targeting potential cost savings.
Both report to Kimberly Fisher, Talalay Global’s chief operating officer.
“Mike and Moe are thought leaders who demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement while proactively building a world-class collaborative environment for our customers, our employees, and our suppliers,” Fisher said. “We are happy to recognize their accomplishments.”
