Sleep accessories provider Malouf earned a 2015 Green Business Award for Corporate Excellence from Utah Business magazine.
The company is a green business by having a solar panel system on the roof of its headquarters in Logan, Utah. Additionally, the company has electric car-charging stations and a chef who prepares meals with ingredients from an on-site garden.
“It’s great and very enabling what technology advancements are made available for people and companies like us,” said Sam Malouf, chief executive officer of green business, Malouf. “It’s getting easier to pursue the green business initiative.”
Malouf was one of 16 companies recognized by Utah Business for its efforts at operating in a more sustainable manner.
