Buying group BrandSource, headquartered in Tustin, California, has appointed Jeannette Howe to the newly created position of director of membership for its appliance, furniture, mattress and consumer electronics sectors.
She reports to Tom Bennett, BrandSource president.
Most recently, Howe was vice president of business development for marketing platform Revenew. Prior to that, she founded and served as executive director of buying group Specialty Electronics Nationwide, now called HTSN. It is the specialty home theater and custom-installation division of Nationwide Marketing Group. Howe’s background also included a previous stint with BrandSource, as national membership manager for the Home Entertainment Source division.
“The BrandSource management team is quite impressed with Jeannette’s extensive industry experience and we are thrilled to have her on board,” Bennett said. “Her deep understanding of the national buying group landscape will be a tremendous asset to BrandSource. She knows the independent dealer community and genuinely enjoys working with them.”
Commenting on her new position, Howe said: “Our goals include growing the BrandSource family with the right dealers and increasing our relevance with the vendor community.
