Innocor Inc., a supplier of flexible polyurethane foam components and finished products, has named William Redmond Jr. president and chief executive officer.
Redmond succeeds Carol Eicher, who now serves as nonexecutive chair of the board of directors and continues to play an important role in the strategic direction of the Red Bank, New Jersey-based company.
Redmond has substantial experience in the chemicals and manufacturing arena. During the past 12 years, he was CEO of GenTek Inc., General Chemical Corp. and Zep Inc. He began his career in 1981 at Procter & Gamble, followed by 10 years at the PepsiCo. Inc.

Eicher said: “As the board and I discussed Innocor’s next phase of growth, we agreed this is the right time to bring in a new CEO to the lead the company. Bill has extensive experience in the chemicals and manufacturing arena and a deep understanding of the needs of customers, which will play a vital role as we work to deliver innovative foam technologies and deepen relationships in both the commercial and retail channels.”
