Teammates Andy Strickland (left) and Brent Limer have joined Latexco U.S., with headquarters in Lavonia, Georgia.

Industry supplier Latexco U.S. Holdings LLC, with headquarters in Lavonia, Georgia, has hired Brent Limer as chief sales officer and Andy Strickland as vice president of business development. Both are new positions for the company.

The additions to Latexco’s management team are part of a strategic plan to grow sales of polyurethane and latex foam components, as well as to expand the company’s turnkey boxed-bed fulfillment capabilities, said Ben Ducatteeuw, Latexco U.S. chief executive officer. The company also expanded its research-and-development team and installed new automated equipment at its Georgia pouring facility.

As chief sales officer, Limer is responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy.

Limer has spent his career in the sleep products industry and joins Latexco after more than a decade with HSM Corp. where he rose through the ranks and was, most recently, director of business development for the home furnishings division. While in that position, he devised the company’s boxed-bed fulfillment program, developed adjustable base lines and led other development efforts.

Previously, he was HSM’s regional sales manager for the Southern region, representing all bedding products in HSM’s portfolio. He began his tenure with the company as market manager for its FR products, becoming the in-house expert on the federal cigarette standard (16 CFR 1632) and federal open-flame standard (16 CFR 1633).

“I am excited to join such an innovative and progressive organization,” Limer said. “Our executive team possesses the vision, passion and experience to help propel Latexco into the future and address the needs of an ever-changing industry. Latexco’s diverse product line, offerings and capabilities truly make us a one-stop shop for our customers.”

Strickland joins Latexco from Carpenter Co. where he was national account sales manager for nearly five years.

In his new post, in addition to new business development, Strickland has broad responsibilities, including account management, marketing and new product development.

Commenting on his new post, Strickland said, “I am thrilled to join the Latexco team and look forward to contributing to the future growth and successes of the company.”

Strickland and Limer both report to Ducatteeuw.
