Duquesne, Pennsylvania-based American Textile Co., a producer of name-brand and nonbranded mattress protection products, pillows and bedding, has established a hospitality division and named Tim Keegan to the new position of senior vice president of hospitality sales.

The division will supply mattress and pillow protection to hotels across the United States.
Keegan previously was with Pacific Coast Feather Co. for more than 25 years, most recently as senior vice president of worldwide sales and demand planning.
He reports to Blake Ruttenberg, executive vice president of sales, marketing and product development for American Textile.
“Tim brings a deep level of industry insight and experience to this new role, which will extend key products into a new segment,” Ruttenberg said. “Our significant investments to expand manufacturing and distribution over the last several years also will play an instrumental role in meeting the increased demands presented by the vast hospitality market.”
Commenting on his post, Keegan, who is based in Seattle, said: “People are increasingly prioritizing wellness and healthier lifestyles. American Textile employs more than 1,000 people worldwide and recently signed licensing deals with the Sealy and Tempur-Pedic brands.
