In his new role with Classic Brands, O’Neill oversees the company’s domestic sales efforts. He is part of a sales management team that includes J.P. “Brian rounds out our growing sales management team, which will continue to support our growth,” said Michael Zippelli, chief executive officer. “A proven sales leader, he will be a great asset. His sales acumen is unmatched in the mattress industry, and we look forward to having him as a leading ambassador for Classic Brands’ wide portfolio of sleep products, best-in-class supply chain and high retail margins.”

Prior to joining Classic, O’Neill was vice president of business development for Serta Simmons Bedding LLC. In addition to his 17 years on the wholesale side of the industry, O’Neill has seven years of retail experience with Back to Bed and Sleepy Hollow Sleep Shop.

Commenting on his new position, O’Neill said: “I’m extremely happy to be part of this dynamic global team. I look forward to leveraging my experience to add value to a successful business model that other vendors—even the largest in the category—can’t replicate. For more than two decades, Classic Brands has been quietly selling innovative mattresses and accessories and delivering these products through an efficient and proprietary supply chain.”
