Jowat Corp., based in Archdale, North Carolina, with world headquarters in Detmold, Germany, held the official U.S. launch of the Pur line of hot-melt adhesives at ISPA EXPO 2018 March 14-16 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pur is a state-of-the-art solution for mattress manufacturers, especially for those who are roll packing beds. It is both cost effective and quiet and achieves a “high-class bond” that—unlike standard hot-melt adhesives—will not re-melt upon exposure to heat, the Jowat said. Pur is described as forming a permanent bond due to a chemical reaction that turns the glue into a strong elastomer as it cures.
