Luxury mattress producer E.S. Kluft & Co., based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, has named industry veteran Luciano Saldana vice president of operations.
He succeeds Ron Bruneau, who left the company earlier this year.
Mostly recently, Saldana served as director of operations for Serta Simmons Bedding LLC in the Western region where he was responsible for the company’s five manufacturing facilities in the area. He has nearly 30 years of experience with leading mattress brands and is skilled in lean manufacturing techniques and the Kaizen process of continuous improvement, the company said in a news release.
Saldana reports to Alain Rauh, international director for The Flex Group, the Madrid-based parent company of E.S. Kluft.
“We’re excited to have an executive of Luciano’s caliber and experiences join our leadership team,” Rauh said. “His proven track record of developing and improving operations strategies, in addition to scaling manufacturing processes, will be instrumental in our continued growth and success.”
