Logan, Utah-based sleep accessories supplier Malouf has named three new district managers to oversee sales.
Jesse Gibbs is Malouf’s district manager for the Eastern United States, an area of 24 states. He previously was a Quick Start business coach for Harris Research Inc., where he helped Chem-Dry and N-Hance Wood Refinishing franchisees quickly get their new businesses licensed and operating profitably.
Eric Holmstead is district manager for the Central United States, overseeing accounts in 13 states. He previously was a territory manager for the company. Before joining Malouf in 2015, Holmstead spent nearly a decade in the auto repair industry.
Jeff Holmstead is district manager for the Western United States, overseeing sales and development for retailers in 13 states. Previously, he also was a territory manager. Prior to joining Malouf in 2014, he managed Downeast, a furniture and clothing store in Logan
for eight years.
The new district managers oversee growth in their respective markets, helping existing accounts improve accessories attachment rates to increase competitiveness, providing tools and training for sales associates to successfully sell sleep accessories, and prospecting new accounts. In addition, they will hire and train new Malouf territory and account managers.
“We’ve spent the last few years expanding and restructuring our sales team in response to growth,” said Sam Malouf, chief executive officer. “We took a long look at where we want to be in the industry and what changes could get us there. One of those changes was to put in place these three district managers to drive the future growth we’re aiming for, and we can already see the impact they are having.”
