Harrison Spinks earns National Bed Federation award.
Simon Spinks, managing director of Leeds, England-based Harrison Spinks, holds a certificate announcing the luxury bedmaker’s latest honor — the National Bed Federation’s Large Bed Manufacturer of the Year. Seated beside him, Peter Spinks, chair of Harrison Spinks, displays the award, which was given at The Bed Show in Telford, England, Sept. 18-19.
Harrison Spinks was recognized for its commitment to vertical integration. A news release noted the luxury bedding company has begun to weave its own cloth, cut its own timber from its forest and spin its own wire for its springs.
Earlier this year, the fifth-generation bedmaker received two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for Innovation and Export.
