Textile supplier Beverly Knits Inc., with headquarters in Gastonia, North Carolina, has announced the launch of sister company Altus Finishing LLC. Operating in a separate, fully equipped plant also in Gastonia, Altus has an experienced staff and management team. Commission finishing services offered include dyeing, heat-setting, tumbling, shearing and specialty coatings.
“Beverly Knits is excited to add dyeing, finishing and coating to our manufacturing capabilities,” said Ron Sytz, principal of Beverly Knits and Altus Finishing. “The Altus Finishing leadership team brings experience from the bedding, apparel and industrial markets and will complement the capabilities of the Beverly Knits companies, including Creative Fabrics and Creative Ticking. … (The new team includes) Kenny Golden as president, with Wim De Baudringhien as executive vice president and Jackie Tweedy as plant manager.”
In addition to mattress ticking, Beverly Knits companies produce fabrics for the apparel market, the automotive industry, other industrial markets and the medical market.
