Leading mattress manufacturer Corsicana Mattress, based in Corsicana, Texas, has opened a new 3,200-square-foot sourcing facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The office’s proximity to suppliers will enhance the company’s sourcing strategy by bringing stakeholders together to improve performance and efficiency, the company said in a news release.
“We are pleased to have opened this office in Greensboro as it allows for countless strategic improvements to our partnerships with suppliers, which will allow us to continue our commitment to providing value and innovation to customers nationwide,” said James Booth, chief operating officer. “This location aids in strengthening our mission of delivering domestic-made mattresses, constructed by American workers, to our customers while helping with our growth and expansion as a leader in the bedding industry.”
The company also recently opened a 165,000-square-foot factory in La Port, Indiana, and broke ground on a 376,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility in its hometown of Corsicana.
