SABA Introduces New Hot-Melt Adhesives

SABA, with U.S. headquarters in Kimball, Michigan, has unveiled Sabamelt 4750, a hot-melt adhesive for the production of all mattress types, including foam-encased models. The company says the adhesive is characterized by its high initial tack and fast strength buildup. It’s specifically designed for manual application in the North American market, according to a news release.

In addition, SABA has rolled out Sabamelt 4910, a hot-melt adhesive intended for automatic mattress production machines.

“We want to be a full-service foam bonding adhesives solution provider and, thus, we’re excited to introduce our new hot-melt adhesives portfolio. We’ve produced hot melts in Europe to a limited degree for decades but with our core technology being water-based adhesives, that has been our sole focus in North America,” said Jim Turner, president of SABA North America. “With our new hot-melt adhesive portfolio, we bring high-quality products and our widely appreciated personal service to all bedding manufacturers.”

SABA will showcase the new products during ISPA EXPO March 8-10 at the Orlando Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
