Houston, Texas-based Sinomax USA Inc. introduced a lineup of products and technologies at the fall textile market, including a breathable foam formulation called AirMax, as well as enhanced cooling and packaging features.
AirMax is a new, proprietary, breathable memory foam tested to be more than 20 times more breathable than conventional memory foams, according to a news release. The technology is optimized for use in memory foam pillows, mattress toppers and mattress layers.
Sinomax also offers a complete, merchandised collection of cooling features, including a redesigned PermaChill technology, which provides cooling for up to 12 hours, company officials said. Sinomax has enhanced this technology to provide advanced cooling power at retail-friendly price points.
The company also has collections with BioCool, a certified USDA Biopreferred program micro-encapsulated phase change material with 94% bio-based content, according to a news release.
In addition to compression technologies saving up to 40% on overall packaging sizes, Sinomax provides retailers U.S.-made packaging featuring Forest Stewardship Council and Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified materials.
