VPC Group, a vertically integrated foam and fiber manufacturer, has bought the assets of Klaussner’s subsidiary, Prestige Foam, as part of Klaussner’s asset liquidation.
This acquisition marks a milestone in VPC Group’s growth strategy, enabling the company to expand its foam-pouring and fabrication footprint beyond Canada into the U.S. market.
With a reputation as a customer-centric partner in the bedding and furniture industry, VPC Group is known for its commitment to quality and service and has emerged as a market leader in North America, company officials said.
The acquisition of Prestige Foam reinforces VPC’s position in the industry, both in Canada and the United States. The company now operates 20 facilities across North America, which includes foam-pouring, foam-fabrication and fiber-processing facilities.
The acquisition of Conover, North Carolina-based Fibrix LLC in August, followed by the addition of Prestige Foam, demonstrates VPC’s commitment to expanding its product offerings and reaching the North American market, according to a news release.
The purchase of Prestige Foam (or Prestige Fabricators, based in Asheboro, North Carolina) will expand VPC’s footprint and strengthen and enhance the company’s capabilities to better serve its customers with a broader range of foam products, company officials said.
