HIGH POINT (October 21, 2024) — Paramount Sleep Company comes to High Point Market with a strategy of luxury sleep introductions backed with strong selling stories that appeal to consumers and can help retailers drive business.

“The luxury category has been more resilient in this persistently challenging economy, and we remain focused on building value through the use of natural and premium materials that define luxury and being a leader in sustainability in the industry, not just at our factory,” said Richard Diamonstein, managing director of Paramount Sleep and board member of the Mattress Recycling Council.

A first in local, natural and sustainable

The newly redesigned Paramount Collection proudly features Virginia sourced cotton in every mattress and makes Paramount the first domestic mattress manufacturer to use locally grown, harvested and processed cotton from its home state. Through a close collaboration with the Virginia Depart of Agriculture and a local gin mill, the collection boasts pure cotton traceable directly from the fields of Isle of Wight and Southampton County, Virginia, and celebrates the heritage of the founding Diamonstein family and its four generations of handcrafted mattress manufacturing.

The collection includes other premium materials and components, a cooling cover quilted with silk-wool cashmere blend and/or 100% New Zealand wool and cashmere for moisture-wicking benefits and long-lasting cool sleep. It also offers quilted natural latex supporting the lumbar region for enhanced support and reduced body impressions. Every Paramount Mattress is  hand-tufted to provide enhanced support and long-term durability. Specialty materials include GOLS certified latex and high-density gel memory foam. The suggested retail price range of $1,999-$4,999, queen mattress only.

The collection also offers a premium  quilted topper that attaches to any of the mattresses with buttons, essentially doubling the feel options of the seven-bed line to 14. The topper retails for $699.

Special previews for retailers

Crafting a refresh of the HD Super Duty series, Paramount invites retailers to experience the new Signature and Classic mattresses for the 2025 launch of this performance-driven durable line. The new HD beds will feature recycled “Blue” cotton from the denim industry, Repreve fabric cover, a new CertiPUR-US 25% biobased high-density foam, FR pad made from recycled plastic bottles, and a foam-encased “Q” Spring on Signature Series or 12.75-gauge HD coil on Classic Series.

Exclusively from Paramount, the Hypnos Wool Series introduction will give retailers first look at its all-new mattress with Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certification. It derives from internationally recognized Hypnos Wool Origins collection that features ethically sourced and traceable materials such as 100% British wool, sustainable cotton, GOLS certified latex, recycled pocket spring support, and genuine hand stitching. Every Hypnos mattress is made with exacting standards in keeping with the traditions and craftsmanship of the 120-year-old family-owned British bed making company.

Paramount Sleep invites buyers to check out the new products and market specials from October 26-30 in their showroom at 330 S. Wrenn St. The company will host a Mattress Monday Mixer on October 28 starting at 5 p.m. with drinks, appetizers and conversation.
