Latex International names VP operations

Industry supplier Latex International has promoted Kimberly Fisher to vice president of operations. In her new post, she is responsible for overseeing day-to-day functions in human resources, logistics, purchasing and customer service at the Shelton, Conn.-based company.

Fisher joined Latex International in 2013 as director of sales support. Prior to that, she was plant manager for Mueller Water Products. According to a news release, her background and skill set include supply chain management, continuous improvement, lean business practices, human resources, team building, management information systems and customer relations.

“Since joining Latex International early last year, Kimberly has already demonstrated a high level of leadership that has been instrumental in streamlining our customer service processes,” said David Fisher, Latex International president and chief executive officer. “She has brought a tremendous amount of experience and talent to our company that has helped us with our aggressive growth strategy.”
