Reverie plans ‘mind games’ for Las Vegas Market with it’s new concept brain-wave controlled adjustable
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. – Sleep products manufacturer Reverie steps into the future of sleep with its new conceptual adjustable bed that incorporates technology that allows for adjustability through brain wave activity. During the upcoming Las Vegas Market, the company will give its showroom visitors the opportunity to compete to see who holds the power to move the base.
Reverie continues to be at the forefront of developing and implementing new technologies to help foster improved sleep, and the Bed of the Future by Reverie is leading the charge with its more sophisticated way of monitoring sleep.
The new bed, which was recognized at the recent Consumer Electronics Show with the Editor’s Choice Award from “Innovation & Tech Today” magazine, is not only adjustable via brain waves, but the innovative, cutting-edge technology also offers the opportunity for more accurate sleep monitoring than what is currently available in the marketplace. Today’s products monitor sleep via actigraphy technology using a tracker worn on the wrist or by monitoring movement.
“Our Bed of the Future really showcases our ongoing pursuit of research and development excellence,” said Martin Rawls-Meehan, president and CEO of Reverie. “Today’s bedding consumer doesn’t expect much from a technology standpoint – but they should. And our bed of the future clearly illustrates why. We had an amazing response from the CES community and are expecting a similar reaction at the Las Vegas Furniture Market.”
Other features of the Amazon Alexa-enabled voice control Bed of the Future include zonal sound that can be isolated to one side of the bed or the other, foot warmers to prevent cold feet and pressure map technology to deliver targeted support and adjust positioning. The concept bed also includes features that are available on most of Reverie’s power bases, such as the 3D Wave™ massage. Reverie recently collaborated with Michigan State University on a study that concluded people who use the 3D Wave massage at bedtime woke happier and reported feeling more alert throughout the day.
The exciting new concept bed will be featured in Reverie’s showroom, located at B-925 in World Market Center. Visitors will be encouraged to compete against one another to see who has the power to control the Bed of the Future.

Reverie will launch National Sleep Coaching Program for consumers at Las Vegas Market
LAS VEGAS – In a move designed to help consumers sleep better in their newly purchased mattresses, sleep products manufacturer Reverie has developed Reverie Sleep Coach™, a program designed to arm people with the knowledge on how to improve their sleep health. The dual-pronged program, which will make its debut at the Las Vegas Market Jan. 28 – Feb. 1, is designed to help consumers learn healthy sleep habits.
Reverie Sleep Coach is available through two options – a digital-only plan with curated content based on an individual’s sleep profile and a premium model featuring one-on-one training.
“Many people who sleep poorly think that buying a great bed will help them sleep better. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case if sleep habits are poor,” said Martin Rawls-Meehan, president and CEO of Reverie. “Sleep education is equally important, and is necessary to form healthy habits that lead to high quality sleep. When you combine the equipment for better sleep (a sleep system) with the information needed to create better sleep habits, an entire solution is formed.”
The innovative program is one more step in Reverie’s commitment to sleep, and its corporate mission to improve the quality of life for consumers through better sleep and a broader opportunity to help the world improve its sleep. The company has secured more than 80 patents for its sleep products and collaborated with leading sleep experts and universities to develop the latest in sleep technology. Reverie Sleep Coach is the latest product to enhance the company’s extensive product lineup.
Developed in concert with Reverie’s sleep advisory board of doctors, scientists and psychologist, the program is individualized based on a consumer’s unique sleep profile.
Designed to help people understand the features and benefits of the purchased Reverie sleep system, Reverie Sleep Coach will also equip consumers with information that will help them understand the importance of sleep and the impact healthful sleep can have on everyday activities.
Reverie Sleep Coach allows retail sales associates to sell the program as a stand-alone sale or as an add-on sale to products purchased that includes sleep quizzes, snooze reports with tips on how to improve sleep and a downloadable guide that can help consumers reset their sleep protocol if they’ve fallen out of sync and the one-on-one coaching for the premium program.
Attendees to the Las Vegas Market will be able engage with Reverie’s sleep coach in the company’s showroom located at B-925 of the World Market Center to learn more about the program Visit http://www.reverie.com/sleep-coach for more information.
