Transfer Master Products Inc. has hired industry veteran Greg Sammons to direct sales for a new division of the company. Transfer Master recently purchased Maxwell Adjustable Bed, a line of custom adjustable beds, from Leggett & Platt and has renamed it Maxwell Motion Bedding.
“We are building on our strength and experience in the health market to enter the consumer market and Greg is a natural fit for us.” said Aaron Goldsmith, president of Transfer Master, which is based in Postville, Iowa. “Greg’s background and contacts will help the company bring its unique solutions to a wide range of new clients.”
“Our products were well received at the ISPA EXPO in Charlotte,” Sammons said. “We showed the original Maxwell K–Bed, the Valiant Hi Low and we introduced a new portable adjustable bed. All generated substantial interest.”
