Richmond, Va.-based mattress producer Symbol Mattress has promoted two members of its management team. Mark Jannke has been named vice president of product development, a new position at the company, and Dick Loyd has been named vice president.
Jannke joined Symbol in 1994 and has held a number of posts with the manufacturer. Most recently, he was general manager of Symbol in Watertown, Wis., and director of FR compliance. He is based at the Watertown plant.
Loyd, who previously was director of purchasing, has held multiple positions at Symbol during his 29 years with the company and is based in Richmond.
Both Jannke and Loyd also were named members of the Symbol strategic planning committee and are to play key roles in Symbol’s aggressive growth plan, the company said.
