MPT Group adds new key account post

MPT Group, a machinery supplier based in Lancashire, England, has appointed Declan Wade to the newly created role of key account manager. Wade works with the company’s customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

In his new position, Wade is responsible for sales of MPT Group’s Infinity Sleep Support System and its Matramatic, Fanghanel and Dimegrove brands of mattress manufacturing machinery. MPT Group Managing Director Andrew Trickett continues to handle worldwide export sales.

“Declan will help us to strengthen our relationships with our existing customers, as well as develop new partnerships,” Trickett said.

Wade, a 30-year veteran of the manufacturing sector, said of his new role: “The MPT Group has an established reputation and a very strong customer base. I am looking forward to the opportunity to develop MPT as the first choice for mattress machinery.”

MPT Group manufactures more than 30 machines for all stages of the mattress manufacturing process. It plans a rollout of new products during the next 12 months, according to a news release.
