Industry supplier Leggett & Platt, with headquarters in Carthage, Mo., recently gained insights into retail sales associates via a survey of its online Sleep Geek community. For each completed survey, the company donated $20 to either the Seena Magowitz Foundation, which raises awareness about pancreatic cancer, or Autism Speaks, which raises funds for autism research, prevention and treatment.
A total of $2,780 was donated to the two charities.
“We are committed to listening and learning from retail sales associates,” said Mark Quinn, L&P segment vice president of marketing. “We appreciate all of the RSAs who took part in the survey to raise money for these great charities.”
Survey results are available to those who sign up at http://sleep-geek.com.
