Therapedic floats new Buoyancy collection

Mattress licensing group Therapedic International, with headquarters in Princeton, N.J., is launching the Buoyancy collection—which combines natural latex overlaid with gel in the company’s signature hourglass design—at the Las Vegas Market at the World Market Center July 29-Aug. 2.

“Gel is more than a trend, it’s becoming a dominant part of the specialty-sleep category that is here to stay,” said Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic president and chief executive officer. “The trick is discovering how to best utilize the gel to maximize its benefits. Our hourglass shape has become a popular feature and synonymous with support in our mattress construction. Building upon that success, we’ve positioned the gel at the top of the mattress in such a unique way that we are able to offer a product that provides more cooling benefits and support in all the right places.”

Four Buoyancy models are available in different profile heights—from 10 inches to 14 inches—and two designs—traditional beige and brown or contemporary lavender and gray. The collection is priced from $1,499 to $2,999 in queen sizes.
