Las Vegas Market adopts Sunday-Thursday schedule

The Las Vegas Market is shifting to a Sunday through Thursday schedule starting in January 2014. The market previously operated on a Monday through Friday schedule. According to the International Market Centers, the show’s organizer, the reason for the change is to better serve retailers’ needs for a weekend market day and accommodate Friday travel plans.

Also, the 2014 and 2015 shows will overlap with related industry events running in Las Vegas, “offering synergistic buying and selling opportunities for both buyers and suppliers.”

Announced Las Vegas Market dates are Jan. 26-30 and July 27-31, 2014; Jan. 18-22 and Aug. 2-6, 2015; and Jan. 17-21 and July 31-Aug. 4, 2016.
