Talalay Global, a Shelton, Connecticut-based latex supplier and maker of the Pure Talalay Bliss bedding brand, used social media in April to introduce consumers to its new Talalay pillow line.
The company took to its Pure Talalay Bliss Facebook page to engage consumers with questions about their sleep. Facebook visitors answered questions about their preferred sleep position and their current pillow. Those who responded automatically were entered into a weekly drawing to receive the Talalay pillow of their choice. Three pillows were awarded each week.
The pillow program, introduced at the Winter Las Vegas Market, includes a supportive Talalay Active model, a plush Talalay Down pillow and a Talalay Copper pillow.
“We’re having such fun with this social initiative for pillows,” said Kimberly Fisher, Talalay Global president and chief operating officer. “The interactions we’re having with consumers are priceless, and the promotion is proving to be a very engaging way to usher the new pillows into the marketplace. We believe in ‘the power of the pillow,’ and this is all about Talalay product awareness and its connection to a good night’s sleep.”
