North Brunswick, New Jersey-based Bedding Industries of America, the licensor of the Eclipse International, Eastman House, Hemingway and Van Vorst brands, has expanded into India with the naming of Repose Mattress of Coimbatore, India, as its newest licensee.
The agreement with Repose increases BIA’s licensees to 62, including 17 in the United States, two in Canada and 43 in other parts of the world.
Founded in 2012, Repose operates a 160,000-square-foot facility with the capacity to produce 10,000 mattresses a month, BIA said in a news release. The Repose factory also makes pillows and other sleep accessories.
