Asheboro, North Carolina-based supplier Asheboro Elastics Corp. has hired Priscilla Peralta.
Peralta brings more than a decade of design and merchandising experience to her new post as product manager. Most recently, she was design director for Creative Ticking. She also previously worked with textile manufacturers Global Textile Alliance, The Quantum Group and Culp Home Fashions.
In her new role, Peralta is responsible for developing, merchandising and marketing tapes, decorative ribbons, handles and other narrow fabric applications for the sleep products industry. She reports to Laura Allred, senior product manager.
