Simmons Bedding Co.’s Hospitality Division rolled out updated Recharge Beautyrest models at the Hospitality Design Expo in Las Vegas May 13-15. The beds promise “a recharging sleep experience through exceptional durability, support, undisturbed sleep and designs to help manage temperature,” the Atlanta-based mattress maker said.
The beds have a proprietary EverNU replaceable top upholstery layer, allowing hotels to refresh the pocketed coil beds by zipping off the old topper and replacing it with a new one. The zippered toppers offer a number of benefits. They allow hotels to save money by extending the life of their “mattress fleet” and to easily upgrade beds to plusher models or to customize beds to guest preferences.
The new Beautyrest models have Nano-Tex stain protection, the result of an exclusive agreement with Applied Textiles, the exclusive distributor of Nano-Tex technology for commercial interiors. The new beds are paired with an EnduroTECH foundation.
“Given the stress that most hotel mattresses undergo, this new Nano-Tex treated layer adds an enhanced level of stain-resistant protection and preserves the quality of our mattresses,” said Steve Tipton, Simmons Hospitality vice president. “Our partnership with this excellent product enables Simmons to provide a better, more protected product to our customers.”
