A. Lava & Son Co., based in Chicago, has hired bedding industry veteran Chris Bunce in a business development role. He is responsible for expanding the company’s products and market share in the mattress industry and beyond.
Bunce has more than 17 years in bedding industry sales. Previously, he was director of sales for Latex International’s pillow program. Prior to that, he was president of Retail Solutions Associates, a retail training and consulting company. His background also includes a sales management role at Latex International during which he oversaw the launch of the Rejuvenite pillow line. Bunce began his mattress industry career as a key account manager at Simmons.
