Mattress industry major Sealy has launched G.S. Stearns by Stearns & Foster. The high-end line merges modern styling with luxury components, including silk and cashmere yarns, New Zealand wool and latex.
The beds boast a hand-tufted outer quilt layer and inner cushion. The collection opens at $2,499 in queen sizes.
“The G.S. Stearns line brings Stearns & Foster’s rich history of quality to consumers looking for a more contemporary finish,” said Jodi Allen, chief marketing officer for the Trinity, N.C.-based company. “The new line is a natural evolution of the brand that was founded as a carriage seat 165 years ago and continues to bring the most luxurious sleep experience to consumers with modern tastes.”
