Milliken collects 11th ethical company honorSpartanburg, South Carolina-based industry supplier Milliken & Co. has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute again this year as being among the World’s Most Ethical Companies, its 11th year receiving the honor.

The 150-year-old company said it has developed a long-standing reputation of engaged corporate citizenship throughout Spartanburg, with a combined associate and company foundation donation of more than $500,000 to local nonprofits in 2016 alone. As an environmental steward, Milliken diverts waste from landfills, uses renewable energy and maintains a 600-acre corporate arboretum, where it hosts numerous community events, according to the company.
