Mattress licensing group Englander Sleep Products and manufacturer SA Bedding Company Ltd. have inked a deal giving SA Bedding the right to manufacture and market a full line of Englander-branded products in India. The new Englander licensee has operations in India, as well as in the Middle East. Its India operation is based in Noida, in Uttar Pradesh. The company has four manufacturing facilities across the subcontinent, producing 10,000 mattresses a month.

“We’re very pleased to add SA Bedding, headed by CEO and Director Ashok Sharma, to our international licensing organization,” said Kevin Toman, president and chief executive officer of Olive Branch, Mississippi-based Englander. “Mr. Sharma is a respected bedding professional from the Middle East and India, and we look forward to his company’s success in establishing the Englander brand in one of the most progressive countries in the region.”

The addition of SA Bedding brings Englander’s international presence to nine licensees operating 14 mattress-manufacturing plants.
