Mattress manufacturer Kingsdown Inc., with headquarters in Mebane, North Carolina, launched an enhanced company website with more interactive content, videos, art and information, all aimed at better engaging consumers during the “pre-shop” period.
New website product pages provide more detail about Kingsdown’s diverse product lineup, from technologically advanced sleep solutions to more traditional mattresses. Clicking the “Why Choose Kingsdown” button yields comparisons of Kingsdown beds to “similarly labeled products in the industry.” Visitors can click the “Mattress 101” button in the site’s main navigation bar to learn mattress basics, industry terminology and more. The “Inside Matters” button on product pages takes visitors on an animated tour of the engineering and components inside specific models.
“When it comes to selecting the right mattress, there are a lot of factors to consider and the shopping experience can become a daunting task,” said Kevin Damewood, Kingsdown executive vice president of sales and marketing. “With our enhanced website, we want to ease the burden for consumers, inviting them to take a close look at the quality behind Kingsdown mattresses and measure our products against others in the industry, so they can ultimately make the best decision when shopping for a mattress.”
