BrandSource Launches Marketing Plan for RTO MembersBuying group BrandSource, headquartered in Tustin, California, has created a marketing plan for its Rental Industry Buying division, called TRIB.

The plan includes affordable websites, point-of-sale materials, search-engine-optimization strategies, social media initiatives, and Google, Facebook and traditional advertising, according to a news release.

“TRIB and the rent-to-own channel are very important to us,” said Jim Ristow, BrandSource chief executive officer. “We wanted to make sure TRIB members have all the tools necessary to make their business profitable. By leveraging the BrandSource marketing infrastructure with dedicated RTO assets, we can give TRIB members the marketing tools they need that are specific to RTO.”

BrandSource has hired marketer Kristina Smallwood, a seven-year veteran of the RTO business, to manage TRIB’s marketing efforts.
