Atlanta-based mattress producer Pure LatexBLISS has hired Patrick O’Brien and E.B. Walthall, two mattress industry veterans.
“As we continue to build our brand, we need strong leadership at a regional level to help support our expansion,” said Kurt Ling, Pure LatexBLISS co-founder and chief executive officer.
Walthall will lead business development for the Eastern region; O’Brien will lead business development for the Southeast.
Previously, Walthall spent seven years as vice president of sales at International Bedding Corp., overseeing the former manufacturer’s largest territory. Prior to that, he was a sales representative and production manager at Simmons. He is based in Chesapeake, Va.
“E.B. brings extensive industry experience and understanding, as well as sales management and relationships, that will lead our brand’s growth at a retail level,” said Joe Hunt, Pure LatexBLISS co-founder and executive vice president of sales.
O’Brien has 16 years of sales experience at major mattress brands. Most recently, he was key account manager at IB. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales at the former Spring Air Co., and before that was key account manager at Serta. He began his career at Simmons, where he rose to the post of territory manager. O’Brien is based in Boca Raton, Fla.
